Our Commitment

Research Corridor is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users.

2

Standards Compliance

We strive to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. Our platform is designed with semantic HTML, proper ARIA landmarks, keyboard navigation support, and sufficient color contrast ratios. We regularly audit our platform to identify and resolve accessibility barriers.

3

Accessibility Features

Our platform includes: full keyboard navigation support; screen reader compatibility with ARIA labels; high contrast color themes and dark mode; resizable text without loss of functionality; alternative text for all meaningful images; focus indicators for interactive elements; skip navigation links; and responsive design for various device sizes.

4

Assistive Technology

Research Corridor is designed to be compatible with common assistive technologies including: screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver); screen magnification tools; speech recognition software; and alternative input devices. If you encounter compatibility issues, please contact us.

5

Document Accessibility

We encourage authors to submit accessible manuscripts. Published papers include: properly tagged PDF documents; structured headings and lists; alternative text for figures; accessible tables with proper headers; and machine-readable reference lists.

6

Known Limitations

While we strive for complete accessibility, some third-party content or legacy documents may not fully meet accessibility standards. We are actively working to improve these areas, and we welcome feedback on any accessibility barriers you encounter.
